Irani Saffron

Irani saffron is slightly inferior in quality to Kashmiri saffron. Colour, fragrance and luster all three are less as compared to Kashmiri saffron. By the way, Irani saffron contains all the qualities available in saffron, the only difference is from place to place.

Even in price Irani saffron is slightly less than Kashmiri saffron. Often dishonest businessmen mix Iranian saffron with Kashmiri saffron in an attempt to earn more money, which is a clear-cut fraud with the customer.
