ORIGIN OF AMLA According to archaic Epics: In Ayurveda Amla is considered as the father of all the RASAYANIK MEDICINE. Pillar in Ayurveda maharishi charka has mentioned that in the world amla is of UTMOST important to maintain the youth. Now, we are going to tell you about a divine story in Relation to Amla about which very few people know. The tears of Goddess Lakshmi and Parvati are the origin of the divine fruit – Amla. Once Goddess Bhagwati, Parvati and Lakshmi went to the Pilgrimage to PRABHAS. So Goddess Parvati told Lakshmi that today she wanted to worship the Lord Vishnu with some new root/ mineral. Lakshmi Ji also wished the same. On that Particular moment their hearts filled with devotion for their Lord’s and tears started rolling down from their eyes and fell on the earth. Wherever, these drops of tear fell became the origin of the “Amla”. Both the Goddesses used that Amla for the worship of their Lords. All the Saints were glad on seeing that and from that day onwards Amla is considered as pious and divine and for the thousand of years all the Gods, Goddesses, Saints, Vaids; healthy and sick people everyone is consuming it regularly.
